GUESS WHO GOT A TABLET FOR GRADUATION

Hint: It's me. I did.

So I've been fiddling with this new Bamboo Pen Tablet and OH MY GOSH suddenly digital art feels right again! I'm still getting used to the mapping (having such a tiny tablet for a 1680x1050 HD natural desktop is kind of crazy!) and figuring out exactly how to do the things that I want to do, but MY GOODNESS GUYS THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN A MOUSE
THINGS MAKE SENSE AGAIN

SO I drew Adelinde as my very first serious all-tablet drawing, and I am just blown away by how wonderful it is to actually "draw" on a computer screen. Mindblowingly awesome.

NOTE: A TABLET DOES -NOT- TEACH YOU HOW TO DRAW. I STILL SUCK AT HATS AND ODD PERSPECTIVES. TABLETS ARE NOT MAGIC IN THAT WAY, DO NOT FOR A MOMENT PRESUME YOU WILL SUDDENLY BE ABLE TO DRAW BECAUSE YOU BUY A TABLET. (sorry, seen way too many people espousing tablets as if they were magic talent-fountains. They aren't. If you don't already have the skill, a tablet will do nothing for you)

ADELINDE IS STILL MY FAVORITE AND I LOVE HER EVEN THOUGH I HAVE BEEN DRAWING WOLVES AND GRYPHONS AND ALPHONSE
